Brand, Marketing and Communications Associate Director at EY

Irene is a seasoned marketing communications and business development professional with over 30 years of multi-disciplinary experience across the banking, private, and professional services sectors.

She joined EY in 2016 and is currently an Associate Director in Brand, Marketing and Communications, leading the go-to-market pillar for the Europe Central region, which comprises 33 countries. Her focus areas include entrepreneurship, sustainability and AI.

Before her current role, Irene also served as Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications, and Head of Business Development at EY Cyprus for several years. Her professional journey also includes a 16-year tenure as the Marketing & Products Division Manager at Alpha Bank Cyprus.

Irene is a strong advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace and a firm believer in female entrepreneurship and empowerment as drivers of economic growth.

She holds an MPhil in Finance from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Economic Theory from the American University, USA. Her academic foundation and diverse experience provide her with an insightful perspective on organizational growth and development.

As an accredited coach, with a Personal Performance Coaching Diploma from The Coaching Academy (TCA), London, Irene brings a people-centric approach to project management and leadership.
