Dr. Marianna Prokopi-Demetriades is a biotech innovator, entrepreneur and Clin. Assoc. Prof. in Research Oncology. Her research focuses on personalized oncology and its translation into innovative solutions for improving the quality of life in cancer patients. She is the co-founder of three certified innovative biotech companies based in Limassol, RSL Revolutionary Labs Ltd, Promed Bioscience Ltd and Theramir Ltd. She has received numerous awards such as the 2022 King’s Distinguished Alumni Award in STEM, the Republic of Cyprus Research Award 2021, the Madame Figaro “Woman of the Year in Innovation” Award 2020 and more. Marianna volunteers as a mentor for young people in many entrepreneurship programs such as the JA Cyprus, ARIS-Deloitte, the AIPFE Cyprus and was selected as Global Ambassador in WomenTech Network 2022, included in the list “10 Women to watch in 2022” by the Global Woman Network and is part of the Female Science Talents at Falling Walls Berlin.
