Christina Shailas is the Founder CEO of Gear Education, a Cyprus-based education technology firm offering consulting, technology solutions, technical services, and training for educational institutions. Amongst their noteworthy partnerships with industry leaders, Gear Education is Cyprus’s first Google for Education partner. With a decade of experience working as a technology integrationist, Christina has been integral to the successful implementation and development of school education technology programs for thousands of educators and students in the United States and Cyprus. Born and raised in New York City, Christina holds a Bachelors degree from New York University (NYU) and a Masters degree from Columbia University. Christina serves as the Cyprus liaison to Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Business Network Development to Kinisis Ventures Ltd. She is a proud member of Heroes Made, a Cyprus-based EdTech startup that has created a social-emotional learning platform for elementary schools, and founder of GEG (Google Educator Group) Cyprus.
